Review: Canon PowerShot S95 10 MP Digital
Camera with 3.8x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom
Canon PowerShot S95 Digital camera has
become one of the most sought after cameras in the market today. After you take a look at the amazing features of this camera,
you would find it hard to resist buying one yourself. Its body is ultra slim but it is ultra intelligent as it
is loaded with must-have features for avid photographers. One good example is this camera comes with a f/20
wide-angle lens as well as manual control via a professional styled control ring.
Canon
PowerShot S95 HS system can give
you high quality photos even in low light. Besides that, Canon's Hybrid IS gives you crystal clear image even
in up close range. The great thing is you can shoot beautiful 720p HD video with sound and immediately watch
it on your HDTV using a simple HDMI connection. If you are an avid photographer and wants to shoot more
professional pictures, the Canon Powershot S95 10 MP Digital Camera is the right camera to
buy.
At an unbelievably reasonable price, the camera also has a 10.0 megapixel CCD
sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 4 Image Processor. This camera is infinitely more sensitive than other cameras with
identical megapixel counts. It gives you stunning images with minimal noise. Because of the increased sensitivity,
the demands of the higher ISO speed are delivered in the PowerShot S95 camera using the new maximum setting of ISO
12,800.
Camera shaking and blurring are greatly reduced to provide for the ultimate in clarity and sharpness. You can also
record video in high definition and enjoy your HD videos by simply connecting to or high-definition TV monitor. You
won't experience any degradation of the audio or image in the signal and you’ll be able to display up to 130 still
images all at once.
This camera is very intuitive with its control ring which allows for white balance,
ISO, exposure, focus and step zoom to be adjusted easily and precisely. With the f/2.0 aperture, you will be able
to create beautiful portraits by bringing attention to the face and blurring the background with a shallow depth of
field. Using the macro setting will allow you to get even closer and be able to capture things in low light
shooting much easier.
There is much more to know about the Canon PowerShot S95 10 MP Digital
Camera. For the price range, you get all the professional features that you would
get in a much more expensive camera.
Here is what one of the owners has to say about Canon PowerShot
S95:
Good in low light and excellent image quality with considerable colour
depth. While not the cheapest, it is well made and easy to use. It didn't come with a card for storage
which was a nuisance as the camera was a present and didn't work out of the box (a small capacity card
would surely not have added much to cost). A reliable product with the image quality of a much bigger
more expensive camera. (Bloom)
